IGAC SSC member

email: marc (at) aero.obs-mip.fr

Celine Mari's expertise includes mesoscale modelling and atmospheric chemistry and dynamics. Celine Mari graduated with an MSs degree in atmospheric chemistry (1995) and a Ph.D in chemistry and meteorology at the University of Toulouse (France) in 1998. After a postdoctoral experience at Harvard University, she joined the Laboratoire d'Aerologie (CNRS - Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique)in Toulouse as a research scientist. Her research interests include atmospheric convection, ozone tropospheric budget, improvement of numerical cloud models to interpret observations, dynamical-chemical interactions and chemistry in the tropics. She has taken part in the organisation of the AMMA (African Monsoon Multidisciplinary Analysis) international airborne campaign over West Africa. She is co-coordinator of the chemical part of this project at the French and European levels. Dr. Mari has been the chair of the IGAC AMMA Task since 2004. .
